I am a multi-credentialed transformation coach certified since 2008 in Solution-focused, Agile, and Ontological practices.

Listen Up Coaching is all about balancing your human being and human doing for successful connection, growth, and change. The more outside-in noise you face from today’s distraction economy, the more essential it is to master your intentional focus from the inside out.
Known as a 360º Connnector, I am a linguist, a telecommunicator, and a personal transformation coach.
With an M.A. in linguistics and an M.Sc. in Information Technology, I started as a freelance business translator in Germany about three decades ago, and shortly after, I shifted into Fortune 10 corporate life at Nokia. There, I traveled the globe, delivering training, consulting, and, ultimately, leading change programs to dozens of large, complex corporates with up to 4000 staff and $500m in budget and scale: AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, Nextel Mexico, Vodafone India, to name a few.
I observed in real life the make-or-break role of human connection in business change success - especially listening skills for sustainable short and long-term results. When I began embedding coaching practices into teams, there was a massive boost in morale, which always corresponded with much less change resistance. The core learning I discovered was that people will only drive and make changes when they feel they belong and are emotionally moved to do so. I have been there, seen it, and done it. Most of all, humans are moved by shared meaning and shared narrative. I often tell my clients, “Humans run best on stories and energy flow, whereas businesses run successfully on processes and cash flow.”
This huge recognition inspired me to focus my career on refining my linguistic background with cutting-edge coaching practices. Besides 15 years in senior corporate roles, I have now 12 additional years as an independent transformation coach and am absolutely committed to delivering human-centric change precisely because it works again and again for the businesses and the humans who work in them. The perfect culmination of this learning experience is distilled into Listen Up Coaching. Success at work and in life comes down to: Stop Talking Down to yourself and others and Start Listening Up instead. Listen to people’s stories and focus on lifting their confidence and competence. The only trouble is that listening isn’t as natural to us as talking.
